Ryan Patient – General Manager

Ryan Patient currently serves as General Manager of Grille 401. As General Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the restaurant and works closely with all of Grille 401's personnel to create a warm and friendly dining experience for all of the restaurant’s patrons.

Ryan grew up in Decatur, Illinois and has been working in the hospitality industry since his adolescence. He exemplifies the true meaning of hard-work and has held many positions to gain on-the-job training in restaurants. Prior to becoming a General Manager, Ryan worked as an Assistant General Manager, bartender, server, barback and dishwasher. He has gained valuable experience throughout South Florida, and on the West Coast, in a variety of dining establishments – ranging from sports bars to upscale fine dining restaurants.

Ryan currently resides in Boca Raton. In his free time he enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time on the beach.

 

Troy K. Beasley – Head Chef

Troy Beasley, the Head Chef at Grille 401, is an award-winning, versatile culinary professional with over 30 years of restaurant experience.  Beasley possesses a special mix of creative flair and a passion for food, strong business sense, and exceptional leadership skills.  He has deep culinary roots that date back to his childhood from both his mother and grandmother in the French Quarter of New Orleans.  Troy had this to say, “I grew up in New Orleans and I’m the oldest of six kids.  We didn't have a lot, but we had each other.   My Grandmother made a living by selling food from our house to the community.  She prepped sautéed, grilled and baked everything from scratch.  I remember standing on milk crates, stirring giant pots of filé gumbo, and watching her for hours. I was amazed how she never measured anything, but her dishes turned out perfectly.  Her love for cooking and how she took care of others, inspired me to pursue this career path, and that passion is what I try to re-create every day.”

Working in the famed Copeland’s Restaurant was a stepping stone to his career in the restaurant industry.  This led him to become a traveling Kitchen Manager for the national chain, Houston’s, where he went on to open several of their restaurants throughout the country.  This was followed by becoming an Executive Chef Partner for Seasons 52 where he was praised with being a Signature Chef and Wine Extraordinaire and received the Diamond Club Award for having the highest sales and restaurant productivity.  He has a proven record of streamlining operations and improving service while preserving the highest levels of quality. He has a natural ability to create enthusiastic, productive working environments with customer-oriented professionals. Troy is also an active participant with many charities that include the American Red Cross, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Toys for Tots, Habitat for Humanity, and the March of Dimes.
